An Interview with General Manager of Private Shop, HK-based Luxury Lingerie Retailer
In Shenzhen Underwear Fair 2012, luxury lingerie retailer Private Shop General Manager Songxun Lin talks about Chinese lingerie market and company’s future development.
Q: Private Shop appeared in Shenzhen Underwear Fair for the first time. What do you think about Shenzhen Underwear Fair?
A: This is the first time that Private Shop took part in underwear fair as an exhibitor. We participated in many foreign lingerie fairs to search for good lingerie label.
Q: How many lingerie brands did Private Shop display here?
A: We showcased many luxury brands from the western, including Ritratti, Aubade, Marie Jo, Princess Tam Tam and Andra.
Q: In your opinion, what are the main lingerie trends in 2012?
A: Various shape wears can be seen in worldwide lingerie shows, so I think shape wear product would be one of the main trends in 2012.
Q: What do you think about the Chinese lingerie market?
A: With rising demand for luxury lingerie, many European labels try to enter into the Chinese underwear market because of their advantages on craftsmanship and experience.
Q: How many flagship stores is Private Shop running in China mainland?
A: We have sales points in most large cities in China, such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou, Chengdu, Beijing and Shenyang.
Q: Please share with us future development direction of Private Shop.
A: Private Shop would pay more attention to customer service. Underwear is a piece of clothing that is next to our skin. We will continue to cultivate professional servants to help our customers to pick up the one suitable to her most.
